**** Unfortunately due to Storm Darragh, the Buckfast Abbey authorities have decided to close the Abbey and grounds on Saturday 7th December, so our concert cannot go ahead. Due to the extra musicians involved, sadly we are unable to reschedule the concert. Buckfast Abbey will refund all tickets purchased. ***
Reflecting and celebrating the approach of Christmas, the voices of Exeter Chamber Choir are swelled by the glorious sound of brass in carols and seasonal music from across the ages. Morton Lauridsen’s haunting modern classic O Magnum Mysterium gives the concert its name; well-loved carols nestle between hymns to the Virgin Mary by Josquin, Bruckner and Gorecki and seasonal music by Sweelinck and Buxtehude.
Exeter Chamber Choir and brass group, conducted by Andrew Daldorph.
Saturday 7th December 2024, 7.30pm
