Exeter Chamber Choir celebrates the beauty of our world in music as rich and diverse as the landscape. Blue birds fly across a still lake before soaring over the rainbow. A lover and his lass sing in the springtime and the seaweed is always greener in someone else’s lake. In Eric Whitacre’s “Waternight” a silent and beautiful river fills you from within, whilst local composer Nigel Walsh sees the sun break through over a small field.
Join us in the pastoral setting of Ashprington for serene and shimmering songs by Whitacre, Charles Stanford and Frank Ticheli, jazzy Shakespeare by George Shearing, hymns and a calypso!
